Thank you so much for all that you have done to make Texture's 4th season possible! We have had an amazing year. In 2014 we presented 18 new works with talented dancers from all over the country. We made our debut at the Kelly Strayhorn, had our most successful performances of WIP (Works in Progress) to date and are looking forward to our production of Unleashed Emotion March 20th-22nd at the New Hazlett Theater. None of this would have been possible without you and our remarkable family of supporters. Thank you for believing in us and for encouraging new, thought-provoking dance in Pittsburgh.
Perhaps our most exciting development this year has been our acceptance as a 501c3 nonprofit. For years our dancers have donated most of their time and talent because they love the work and performing for this remarkable Pittsburgh audience. Ticket purchases are absolutely vital to our success, but do not cover the costs of a production. As we enter our 5th season, we hope to encourage talented dancers to continue to work with us by offering more competitive compensation for their time. We cannot do this without you and I hope that you will choose to support us once more with a tax-deductible gift to Texture because every single dollar makes a huge difference. You can click here to send us a check or to make an online donation. We look forward to ringing in the New Year with Cello Fury with three performances at the Byham Theater during Highmark First Night Pittsburgh on December 31, 2014. To attend First Night click here to buy a button, register your button, and then reserve a seating voucher. Buttons are $8 in advance, $10 at the door, and free for childeren under five; use the promotional code HFNPpartner to receive $1 off when buying your button. Vouchers are free, they are used to make sure that theaters don't fill beyond capacity. Thank you for making our dreams possible and for allowing us to contribute to the exciting dialogue of new dance in Pittsburgh. I look forward to celebrating our 5th anniversary season with you in 2015. All the best, Alan
