Texture is excited to kick off its eighth season, opening with Unmeasured Rhythm at the New Hazlett Theater. Get ready to embrace the beat and feel the pulse of the movement as music and dance weave together for a night of high energy.
The run of performances showcases a first for Texture - TAP! With choreography by Artistic Director Alan Obuzor, our dancers will take you on a rhythmic journey, both to music and a cappella.

A fiery new ballet co-choreographed by Mr. Obuzor and Associate Artistic Director Kelsey Bartman is also premiering, inspired by Spanish music and culture. Rounding out the program is a new work by New York-based guest choreographer Annalee Traylor.

Join us as we open our season with a rhythmic beat! It is bound to be unmeasured!
