Texture Ballet School Mission, Vision, Values Statement
Our goal at Texture Ballet School is to make students fall in love with dance while helping each individual reach their fullest potential. Texture Ballet School provides high quality ballet training which readies students for the professional dance world and fully prepares them to pursue careers in classical and contemporary ballet.
We provide a thorough and rigorous ballet program with a well-rounded dance education that can be used as a foundation to pursue any style of classical or contemporary dance that they wish.

While we aim to train the next generation of dancers, choreographers, and dance instructors, we realize that not everyone will choose to follow one of these paths. The reason to study in a professional ballet training program is not only to pursue a career in dance but also to learn all of the life lessons that come along with studying dance.

Through dance we strive to teach our students:
  • Respect for themselves
  • Respect for others
  • Discipline
  • Commitment
  • Confidence
  • The value of hard work
  • How to be self-motivated
  • How to work with others as a team
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • There is always room for improvement. You won't always get everything you want.
  • An appreciation for things that come naturally to oneself
  • An appreciation for things that don't come naturally to oneself
  • The fact that most worthwhile things take a lot of hard work and don't happen overnight. There are no shortcuts to developing real knowledge and mastery of a craft.
  • Some things will always come easier to someone else and the response to that is sometimes you need to work twice as hard to get the same results and there's nothing wrong with that
  • No matter how much you learn there is always more to learn.
  • There will always be someone else who is better at a given thing, but each person is important and each person has their own gifts and strengths.

These lessons will be values that our students can and will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Texture Ballet School is accepting and inclusive of all people. We provide a safe, positive, nurturing environment where each student can learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
