Act 1 will be the premiere of A Fairy Tale, which is an original story ballet choreographed by Artistic Director, Alan Obuzor, and set to the music of Felix Mendelssohn. A Fairy Tale is a ballet adaptation from an original story which was written by Alan Obuzor and Texture Company Dancer/Texture Ballet School Teacher Erin Patterson. Act 2 features a section of new works choreographed by Alan Obuzor and Kelsey Bartman, which showcases Texture Ballet School students in dance works which utilize classical, contemporary, and tap dance. These pieces are powerful, graceful, playful, and fun; Stronger, Islands, Unwanted Tears, Just Vamp, La Source, and Gals & Dolls will keep you dancing in your seat. |
