Through the years, Texture has had the honor and privilege of collaborating with many amazing people, artists, arts groups and organizations. One of these groups was the incredible Pittsburgh band, Meeting of Important People(MOIP). In 2017 Texture and MOIP teamed up to present a new work at the New Hazlett Theater titled Tell Me It's Not Too Late. In these times of social distancing and SummerLove, we have decided to release one section of Tell Me It's Not Too Late when we reach 50 donors, a second section when we reach 100 donors, and three sections when we reach 150 donors.
At the end of our SummerLove campaign we will send a video link of the entire piece, Tell Me It's Not Too Late, to each person who has contributed to SummerLove!

Here at Texture there is so much that we love! We love creating and presenting new and innovative work, collaborating with other groups and individuals, inspiring fellow dancers, engaging young students, connecting and relating with our fans...... we love to dance........ and we love people like you that support art and make what we do possible!
During the month of July we have a goal of finding 150 individuals who will stand up and show that they love Texture by making a donation. There are several ways to donate to Texture. During the month of July choose any method that you like and all donations over $10 will count toward our goal of 150 supporters! Stand up and be counted! |
We are very excited that this July will mark the start of our 2020-2021 season, which will mark our tenth season! The funds raised through this campaign will be used to help us make our season a success. Donations will be used to help us create virtual content while we are not on stage, and then prepare shows for the theater when it is time for that. Some of our expenses include: Dancer Salaries, Equipment for Creation of Virtual , Musician Fees, Lighting Design, Costume Expenses, Shoe Expenses, Creation of New Ballets, Theater Rental, and so much more.
Funding for the arts is very limited. Ticket sales don’t begin to cover all of the expenses associated with running a non-profit arts organization; therefore, all performing arts organizations rely greatly on charitable donations from people who choose to stand up and support the arts. Really, truly, if people didn’t make financial contributions to support the arts, none of the arts organizations which so greatly enrich our communities, our lives, and the world would be able to continue doing what they do. Show Texture some love by making a donation today!
